Our church’s plan for discipleship is focused around the Elders equipping the heads of households to disciple their households. We do this equipping primarily through monthly Men's Meetings. Men's meetings cover topics related to being followers of Christ, husbands, fathers, and theologians-in-residence.
As this is one of our primary means of equipping besides Sunday worship, we strongly encourage all men to attend, unless providentially hindered, regardless of the topic. This is not an optional meeting for you if you like the topic -- it is a time of equipping, sharpening, covenant fellowship, and an opportunity to pray for your brothers. Check the church calendar for the next Men's Meeting date.
As part of our effort to inspire the next generation of godly manhod, we have an annual Men/Future Men Campout. We also sponsor an active Trail Life USA troop.
For the women who are the heads of their households, we do not include them in the Men's Meetings. Instead the Elders meet with them individually and make sure they receive at least the same level of equipping as the men.
